Article Processing Charges

Global Journal of English Language and Literary Research (GJELR) is based on an open-access publication policy, where all the published papers can be fully and indefinitely read by the audience in the whole world without need of subscriptions. As a supplement to the expenses involved in publishing of high-quality academic articles, they charge Article Processing Charge (APC) on published articles.

APC Amount

USD 500 per accepted article

APC is paid at the time when the manuscript has passed the peer-review stage with success and it was officially accepted to be published. No submission charges or reviewing charges are charged at any level before acceptance.

What the APC Covers

The Article Processing Charge subsidizes:

  • Organization and control of the double-blind peer-review.
  • Heavy editorial review and decision-making.
  • Typesetting and format of a manuscript.
  • Registration and digital publication of the DOI.
  • Internet hosting and publicity.
  • Long term file and maintenance of published articles.

This charge makes sure that authors get professional publishing services without restricting their research.

Transparency and Fairness

GJELR has full transparency in its APC policy. The sole criterion on which the editorial decision can be made is on the basis of academic merit, originality and relevancy to the scope of the journal. The outcome of the peer-review is not affected by the payment of APC.

Through APC, authors make their work visible globally, accessible, and permanent to the academic community.
